Supporting research work

The Wasser-Geräte GmbH - PETREI family - support the research of Prof Dr Robert Zeiser in the field of Cancer research.

The research aims at improving the outcome of patients suffering from leukemia.
A particular focus of the research is on those patients that undergo allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation for treatment of their leukemia. Novel strategies to improve the graft-versus-leukemia reaction after stem cell transplantation are investigated. A major focus is on signal molecules that may enhance the rejection of leukemia cells.
